- Demise of Amiga LW? As far as I know it is shipping. As far as I know,
- Newtek is upgrading lightwave to the PPC Amiga. This to me sounds like
- the Amiga is not dead yet.
-
- BTW I do a little free lance animation work as a side line using my 040
- A3000. While I couldn't live off of it, It does pay a few bills. I guess
- its not really proffesional as such, but it is more than "hobby". I find
- the 040 a bit slow and am very envious of the speed of the pentiums. I
- will wait for the Power Amiga upgrades though. I use windows at my full
- time job and cringe at the thought of having to use it at home. I just
- don't like it.
-
- If the Amiga had died then I eventually would have gone that way. It
- would have been with regrets though.
-
- Anyways, you are right: the writing is on the wall. You just have to
- learn how to read. I find it amazing that some continue to compare new
- pentiums to five year old Amigas.
